I need to create accessible slide decks. I want all text to be at least 18 point font. This is not an unusual request. I go in and pick the font I want. I make a Theme with those fonts. There is not a straight forward way to set a minimum size. There is the "fit" option which I turn off but doesn't seem to stay even when I am reusing the Theme. Same for the slider and the use small, medium, or large fonts. I want this to be set and stick.
Also to be accessible, the screen reading order needs to be set. It doesn't seem to let me set that and It doesn't seem to do a good job of it itself.
Finally, if I set up alt-text that doesn't carry over on export.
We have laws about everything produced in schools needing to be accessible. While Gamma saves time on creating a prototype draft. It more than looses that time in tedious edits to make the outputs accessible.

Hey Kathy Benson, really appreciate how specific this is. Totally hear you, if you’re in a school workflow, “almost accessible” just turns into a bunch of tedious cleanup. I’ll pass this to the team.
Quick couple questions so we can make this actionable:
1) When you say export, which format are you exporting to where alt-text isn’t carrying over (PDF, PowerPoint, something else)?
2) For screen reader order, what’s the expected behavior you need: a way to manually reorder elements per slide, or would a consistent default order (title then body then images) be enough in most cases?
Also, on the font sizing sticking: is the main pain that the Theme doesn’t persist your “fit off” + size choices when you apply it to a new deck, or that it flips back even within the same deck after edits?
