Add Accordion Block for Web Pages
Jeferson Venancio
It would be incredibly valuable to have an accordion block available when building web pages in Gamma. This component is ideal for organizing FAQs, product details, or layered content in a clean, user-friendly format — enhancing readability without overwhelming the viewer. It’s a key element in modern UX/UI design and would greatly expand Gamma’s versatility for more complex page structures.

Accordions and ToolTips would be Great

Here's a question for you. Is it possible to put accordion content into a gamma slide. e.g. for FAQ?
I'm not able to add accordion/collapsible content to Gamma cards at the moment. Gamma doesn't currently support interactive expand/collapse elements like accordions.
For FAQs, here are some alternatives that work well:
Option 1: Dedicated FAQ cards - One question per card with the answer visible. Users can navigate through them.
Option 2: Compact list format - All Q&As on one card using a smart layout or simple list, keeping answers concise.
Option 3: Two-column layout - Questions on the left, answers on the right for easy scanning.
Would you like me to help you create an FAQ section using one of these approaches?
Not now, and I don't like this. Gamma should support this or something like this. ToolTips could do it. Is that supported?
Tooltips aren't supported in Gamma either, unfortunately. I agree it would be useful for content like FAQs or supplementary information that you want to keep hidden until needed.
For now, the workaround options are what's available - separate cards, compact lists, or callout boxes for emphasis. I know it's not ideal for interactive content.
If this is a feature you'd like to see, I'd recommend sharing the feedback with the Gamma team directly. They're always looking at ways to improve the platform based on user needs.

Hi Steve Kowarsky, have you tried using nested cards or toggles? I've found that these work well to create accordions and nested content.

Great suggestion!

hi Jeferson Venancio. We do have a "toggle" block that you can insert. It functions kind of like an accordion. Type + and then spacebar to make one.
I would love a dedicated accordion block as well though

Thanks to Alison and Nik - very kind of you to reply. It looks like Toggles and Footnotes could be very helpful. Footnotes seem to be a lot like ToolTips. I will experiment with these.
OK, now I have tried them. For footnotes, suggest an option to use asterisks rather than numbers. Or question marks. Footnotes could be tooltips if hovering instead of clicking made them visible. Might be easy.
Toggle is pretty much accordion, one at a time. I like it. Could make a nice FAQ card this way. Thanks again.
