Absolute positioning of elements
Z
Zenon Mousmoulas
I understand that Gamma.app retains full control of element positioning through the supported layouts, so that it can ensure responsive rendering in any page style or export format. This means that absolute positioning for an image or a text box is basically impossible. However this practice is very common for presentations, and some times quite necessary, for composition with shapes, for adding labels or providing legends etc. While grids with columns and tables etc. are very handy and produce great looking output, I think that missing the option to "freely" place an element on top of others can be quite a real problem. I wonder what the Gamma team thinks about this.

Hello, I would like to know the image what I share to see it myself only if someone else can copy or write to me almost like what I wrote

More control over images

Please consider more control over images. Like manual resizing and cropping and fill to canvas options (cover and contain)

The image is very AI

The image to be included in the course is too hard, and there are a lot of people who look like a robot
Also, the layout for adding images is so simple that it takes too long to edit the slides.
I think we need as many different layouts and diagrams as PowerPoint
It's disappointing

I would like the ability to add images and freely move them within a text box, allowing for flexible placement. Also, I want to be able to resize images to achieve the desired dimensions, rather than being limited to only two options: fitting the image, which often makes it too small, or removing the fit, which typically results in oversized and distorted images.

Please add layers feature

I hope we can add layers so we can freely add and move around texts, images, and other elements to where we want to actually place it

Superposition d´images
Stephane Roy
It would be great to be able to superimpose screenshots. Especially if we work on apps, this is often what is done on Google Slides.

Loving your product, but the lack of control over image sizes and placement is driving me crazy. Either full size (too big at times, and if image above, only a piece of the product image), or tiny (fit image) just simply doesn't work if I'm working with product images as the image is entirely dependent on the amount of text next to it. So also no consistency across pages. Why no option for one image on a card, and another with one image and a small bit of text above or below? That would help. Likewise not being able to move the image to where I want it, focal point or changing template just not working well as described above. It really means using another program is the only option at times, which is disappointing as otherwise Gamma is a great looking product.

Lack of Image Placement Features Makes This Unusable

Its impossible to do simple tasks like place an image on a slide without that image being cut off and even simple things like paste an image of screenshot from a slide from another application doesn't work the majority of the time.
