Allow us to bulk delete gammas or ai images
Tom Schaefer
It's not really an efficient aspect to the UI. It's also costing them wasted server space - or maybe they have unlimited space so it's no concern.
But the tedium of not being able to bulk select makes it so time consuming as to be exhausting. There also needs to be categories, and folders in a simple tree format, and the ability to filter by date or categories.

BULK IMAGE MANAGEMENT IS IMPERITIVE - THIS IS URGENT
Tom Schaefer
THERE NEEDS TO BE BETTER IMAGE MANAGEMENT
YOU HAVE TO BE WORKING ON THIS
Trying to go back and find images throughout my projects is a nightmare
I actually want to delete a ton of images that are wasting space on your hard drives, but you have made deleting images a chore -and it would take me hours to clean up my images.
WE NEED BULK IMAGE MANAGEMENT, IMAGE CATEGORIES, FOLDER-TREES
We need a way to filter by categories, we need to be able to exclude IMAGES IN USE on various. gammas and sites

Bulk delete AI images

Lots of my AI images are not great. I want to delete them easily (not one by one, but by selecting multiple) to only keep the best ones.

Now it is difficult to delete sites and images. I have to delete one by one. Other tools all have bulk delete feature. I wish Gamma will add this feature ASAP.
Also for the "Folder", it is useless.

Please add a button to select and delete multiple images from "AI images" tab.
Everytime I do a gamma there tons of leftover images and is so hard to delete them 1 by 1, also a configuration to turn off suto-saving would be good.

Delete Horrable Ai Generations
Albert Phillips
I want the ability to delete the images generated from Ai that do not look right, I want to be able to "Clean Up" my image area. I only want to see images that I can use. Please Allow DELETE of IMAGES
Alison (Design @ Gamma)
Hey Albert Phillips, you can delete AI images from the panel — let me know if these buttons don't show for you!
Albert Phillips
Alison (Design @ Gamma) The issue is that you have to keep hitting "load more" to go down the "Ai Image" button from the Panel. I just want to see all of the pictures and delete the ones I don't like. I keeps bouncing me back up to the top, most recent images. I want to be able to scroll all the way down and delete the ugly ones. This will save data space on my account...true?
Albert Phillips
Alison (Design @ Gamma) NO DELETE BUTTON
Alison (Design @ Gamma)
Albert Phillips: Got it — I think there are a couple of bugs/quirks here that I'll file with my team:
- You expect the images to load in automatically when you hit the bottom (rather than having to click on "Load more"
- When you delete an image, your screen jumps back up and then you have to scroll down and load more again
As for the space, there are not currently limits on how much you can generate in Gamma (:
Alison (Design @ Gamma)
Albert Phillips: Was this image generated by you or someone else? If you, this looks like a bug. If it was made by someone else, they'll have to delete it from their account.
Albert Phillips
Alison (Design @ Gamma) It was generated by the Ai

Kindly provide the option to select/deselect multiple presentations in order to delete them from the workspace or from the Trash folder.

Hi Jason Levy Møller thanks for the feedback!
Confirming you'd want this on the dashboard or eg. inside of folders?
Also, can you tell us a bit more about why you'd want to delete gammas in bulk?
I tend to make a lot of rough notes and decks using AI, so I think I'd also like having a bulk delete—but don't want to assume you have the same need
Jason Levy Møller
Hey Nik Payne (Gamma design) – ideally, I'd absolutely love this feature both on the dashboard and inside of folders.
And yeah, that's pretty much what I do too. Lots of notes, rough drafts, ideas, tests etc. 😅
I do also have a lot of extra gammas, as often, when using AI to create a gamma, it makes it with pictures from the internet rather than AI-generated images as requested. So when it does that, I have to go back to the prompt page and try again. It works on the second time, but then I have a duplicate gamma that I'm not going to use / don't need to save.
Jason Levy Møller
The lack of this feature and the issue with the pictures are seriously the only two "complaints" I have about gamma – otherwise, it's a total dream-come-true. 🤩
Nik Payne (Gamma design)
Jason Levy Møller thanks for following up. That's helpful.
I don't know that we'll be able to prioritize this soon, but our dashboard has been in need of some love—and this would be a great add-on. I'll cut a ticket to look into this.
Nik Payne (Gamma design)
Jason Levy Møller Following up on the second bit, are you using the generate or paste in flow? And is it not _remembering_ your last used setting or is the setting wrong? I often forget, because we're not good about persisting your last used/chosen option.
Jason Levy Møller
Hey Nik Payne (Gamma design) – it's when I'm at the attached page. I then continue. Get the theme, which is fine. And then one the next page, when the presentation is generating, it uses pictures from the internet rather than AI. 🤔
Jason Levy Møller
Nik Payne (Gamma design) – thanks! 🤞
