Hey Ennis Reid, sorry you’re running into this. Burning credits because the AI makes unwanted changes or leaves things half-done is super frustrating, and I’ll pass this along to the team.
Quick couple questions so we can make it actionable:
1) What were you trying to get it to do (and what did you type as the prompt)?
2) When it “changes things it wasn’t asked to,” what kind of changes are we talking about (text rewrites, layout/design, deleting content, something else)?

Nik Payne (Gamma Design), please review the many conversations I’ve had with the AI regarding these issues. There are simply too many to list individually, and I don’t have the time to go through each one.
The main challenges are:
* Making overall document changes reliably.
* Resizing and repositioning illustrations.
* Breaking content across more pages without unnecessarily redesigning the document.
* Utilising available space appropriately rather than leaving large empty areas or overcrowding other sections.
* Completing all requested changes in a single instruction.
* Maintaining layout, sizing and formatting when exporting to PDF.
A recurring problem is that I’ll ask for several specific updates in one message, but Gamma will complete only one or two and ignore the rest. Sometimes it appears to randomly select which changes to make.
There are also significant issues when content is exported or repurposed. For example, if I create social content and then want to use it as a flash card, the sizing, layout and formatting can change substantially. Elements move, text resizes, and the overall composition no longer reflects what was originally designed.
This becomes particularly frustrating when credits are being consumed each time I have to repeat an instruction that was already clearly included in the previous request.
The core issue isn’t simply that changes occasionally need refinement. It’s that I’m repeatedly spending credits correcting formatting changes, restoring layouts, and asking Gamma to complete instructions it failed to carry out properly the first time.
Given that these issues have repeatedly resulted in incomplete edits, inconsistent outputs, and additional rework through no fault of my own, I would ask that Gamma review this properly and reimburse the credits that have been used as a result of these failed or incomplete responses.
