Single color bar charts, please!
Eleanor Semeraro
I've been trying to get the charts in my gammas to align with important branding/style guides, including approved colors - but there seems to be no way to make a bar chart use just one single color. I've tried adding just the primary color to the gamma's set theme, and tried adding the desired color to all the secondary color options (as suggested by your AI agent :) but it insists on doing gradient colors or contrasting colors...my client needs charts that just use one single color. Please help!!

Hi Eleanor Semeraro, can you tell me more about what kind of colors you'd like to see? Are you thinking of a single color with tints and shades similar to a monochrome palette? The team is currently working on this, so I would love to share some of the new color options we're thinking of as well!

Michelle Tran (Design @ Gamma) Hi, thanks for the super quick response! Basically just having an option to make bar/column charts a single color, instead of forcing at least 2+ colors, would be great. Attaching an example we previously made in Infogram before we started migrating work to Gamma - all the columns are the same color green. We are loving so much about Gamma and everything it can do that's super dynamic/visually captivating but sometimes super simple is needed :)

Eleanor Semeraro this example is so helpful, thank you! I've let the team know to include the ability to select single colors for the upcoming improvements.

Title: Request for Default Chart Axis Adjustment
Doug Adams
I would LOVE to be able to set a default for generations to not include zero in the axis for charts - the current default starts charts at zero, and of course we can change that in editing, but it would be very helpful to just make it the default by choice.
my use case will send automated monthly updates to homeowners so we are measuring small changes in price - the charts look much more dynamic with smaller increments in the y axis than starting at zero

Customizable Chart Axis

Christy Schrader
The axis of charts is not completely customizable. I had survey results rating from 0 to 5 and the max y axis was 4.5 and couldn't be changed. I wanted to see chart lines at every 1 (0,1,2,3,4,5) and Gamma couldn't do it. I tried to add a hidden row to force the y axis to be 5 but then it changed to 6. I really love Gamma and would love to build more charts with more custom axises. Thank you!

We cannot control the size of fonts inside graphs .. this should be done to make it easier

Axis names for charts
Sara Tafoya
Right now, there is no way I can add a name for the axis in the charts. The chart feature is useless without it because I have to generate the chart elsewhere and import as an image.

Feedback on Issues with Visual Presentations(graphs and Charts) in the App
H
Hany Hashem
I would like to report a recurring issue I’ve encountered every time I create a visual element using the application. There are several points I’d like to highlight:
Positioning of Visual Elements
Every time you generate a visual shape, chart or graphic, it appears outside the boundaries of the slide or canvas. This makes the output appear disorganized and requires manual adjustment each time, which affects efficiency.
Color Contrast and Readability
The colors used in the visual shapes are often derived from the same base color, with minimal contrast between them. This makes it very difficult for viewers to distinguish between elements, as there is not enough visual separation or color contrast to make key differences stand out.
Lack of Unit Labels
The generated visuals usually lack clear units for numbers, such as:
Thousands (K), Millions (M)
Currency symbols or labels (e.g., $, €, SAR)
Size or volume units (e.g., MB, GB, liters)
This often leads to confusion when interpreting figures or comparing data.
I kindly suggest:
Ensuring all shapes and elements are automatically aligned within the slide boundaries.
Using clearly contrasting colors in charts and shapes to improve readability.
Providing options to automatically include units (e.g., thousand, million, currency, size, etc.) where applicable.
Best Regards
