I would like to recommend an improvement to how Gamma creates hyperlinks in a Table of Contents.

I frequently create web-based Gammas containing a Table of Contents that should take viewers directly to the appropriate section card. Gamma’s AI often creates links using hashtag anchors or raw internal card IDs, such as “3dt5prdr5wsqlye.” These links do not consistently work in Present Mode or the published web version.

For the links to work correctly, each Table of Contents entry must be connected through Gamma’s native card-selection system. In the link settings, the destination should appear as the blue internal-card chip showing the card icon and visible title, such as “Section 1.”

I recommend adding the following capability:

When a user asks Gamma’s AI Agent to hyperlink an existing Table of Contents, the Agent should automatically:

Match each TOC entry to the corresponding card by its visible title.

Select that card through Gamma’s native internal card-reference system.

Display the named blue card chip instead of a raw card ID or hashtag anchor.

Verify that each link works in Edit Mode, Present Mode and the published web version.

Preserve the existing TOC design, wording, formatting and order.

It would also be very helpful if this behavior could be preserved in reusable templates. When a template contains an internally linked Table of Contents, Gamma should recognize and reproduce the same native linking method in newly generated Gammas.

This improvement would eliminate substantial manual work for anyone creating long presentations, training manuals, guides or interactive web-based Gammas.ou need to automate the linking functionality example of link format see attached
