Improve AI images tab

Image Ideas: Make a way for us to see the images in a bigger format. When creating AI images, they pop up in the dialogue box. And, they are small, even when I am using my huge screen. When I am using them directly into a Gamma, I can see them larger when I import them. But, then I often find issues I couldn't see when they were small. When using the AI generator, there is no option for finding extra fingers, weird stuff in the background etc until I download the image and then open it up. Is there a way to make these pop up larger somehow? Also, I am still advocating for being able to sort pictures into folders. I end up regenerating many images over and over because I have too many to go through. And, also, when deleting pictures, can it not send us back to the top of the pictures? I want to clean out images, but then I get dumped back at the top and I have go through all of the page again. Thank you!

Hey Culture Coach, thanks for the super detailed writeup. Totally get how annoying it is to only notice the extra-fingers-weird-background stuff after you’ve already downloaded.
A couple quick questions so I can pass this to the team with the right context:
1) When you say the images are small in the dialog, are you hoping for a click-to-zoom/lightbox preview, or something like a full screen viewer with pan/zoom?
2) For organizing, would folders be the ideal, or would search + tags + filters (like “recently generated” or by project) solve most of the pain?
3) On the delete flow, are you deleting from a grid/gallery view and it jumps back to the top after each delete, or only after leaving the page?

Hey Nik - So glad you asked!
Images Preview - I would take any way to make them bigger. But, ideally a double click that would make them larger. Pan/zoom would be an extra perk, but just bigger for now would allow me to catch the little stuff better than the small preview does.

Organizing: As a bit of background, right now I mostly use Gamma to make decks that I then turn into videos. And, I am doing videos on a wide range of topics. Right now I am doing a bunch in construction. But, then I will end up doing a series on psychological safety in the workplace where I need general photos. Or healthcare. You get the pattern. I can hope around. I don't have an easy way to tag everything and that would be time consuming. But, if there was a way to select a group of photos after I get done and move them into a folder marked "construction" for example, that would be huge help. Right now I can see in my mind eye pics I have generated in the past but I cannot find them easily. This will be even more important if I use Nano Banana which takes up so many credit s but which gives me WAAAAY better images on topics like construction where the other options give me hyper stylized photos where the men are all bearded, the women are all young and wearing make-up and where it looks fake. But, I finding that if I use Claude to write me really long and specific photo prompts and then I use Nano I can get images that are realistic. Yeah! But, as you know Nano can burn through credits sooooo quickly! So, those pictures I want to know how to save them and reuse them easily. -long answer!

For deletion: I am working from this grid. I am often generating images outside of creating a gamma so that I can reuse decks but make them for a different industry for example. Or, I will get into the video and then realize that a photo won't work. So, I use this interface quite a bit. When I choose select and then scroll down to delete photos and clean up what I have, than I have to keep hitting load more. I will delete say 10 at a time. OR, I will be looking for a particular image I generated and tehn realize I have a bunch of photos that generated with the gamma that I want to delete. I use the icebreaker template and the theme default for this puts a blue tint on everything so I never use pictures that come with the template. I am happy to see now that you can uncheck this feature. However, once I am in the gamma and generating more photos (it usually takes 20-30 images to get what I need), it will automatically check off use theme colors which I have to remember to uncheck it each time. And, often I forget. So, that means I end up with a bunch of photos that won't do me any good. I try to go back and delete them. After selecting and deleting images, it always puts me back up to the top of the images and i have to go through the process of scrolling down, loading more and finding where I left off.

Nik Payne (Gamma design) I wrote this as one long answer and then had to chop it up, so the photo should go with the deletion comment. Let me know if you want more details. I was a bit long winded but I figured more details rather than less might help? Thanks for asking!
