Ich würde mir auf der Startseite eine klarere Ordnerstruktur wünschen – insbesondere die Möglichkeit, nicht nur Hauptordner, sondern auch Unterordner anzulegen. Gerade bei mehreren Kundenprojekten, Präsentationen usw. wäre eine Subfolder-Struktur extrem hilfreich, um Inhalte sauber zu organisieren und schneller wiederzufinden. Aktuell wirkt die Ablage dadurch etwas zu flach. Eine Ordner- und Unterordnerlogik würde Gamma im professionellen Projektalltag deutlich nutzerfreundlicher machen.

Hey Team Krüger, danke für das super konkrete Feedback. Macht total Sinn, dass eine flache Ablage bei mehreren Kundenprojekten schnell unübersichtlich wird. Ich gebe den Wunsch nach Unterordnern/Subfolder-Struktur ans Team weiter.
Kurze Frage, damit wir’s richtig treffen: Würdest du Unterordner eher für eine tiefe Hierarchie (z.B. Kunde > Projekt > Versionen) nutzen, oder reicht dir meist eine Ebene Unterordner unter dem Hauptordner?

Gerne die Möglichkeit für mehr als einen Unterordner, d.h. tiefere Hierachien. Konkretes Beispiel: Kunde X -> Projekt Y -> Inhalt Z. Nach meiner Einschätzung würde diese 3-er Hierachie-Tiefe 95% der Anwendungsfälle decken.
Ansonsten großes Lob an euer Tool - ihr macht eine super Arbeit!!

Feature Request: Folder and Subfolder Support via Gamma API
I’d like to request the ability to create folders via the Gamma API. In addition, it would be very helpful to introduce support for subfolders, allowing for a hierarchical folder structure.
This would enable more structured organization directly through the API and improve overall workspace management.

Hey Gregory Lewandowski, thanks for the super clear request. Folder + subfolder creation via the API makes a ton of sense for keeping workspaces organized at scale, I’ll pass this along to the team.
Quick couple questions so we design it right:
1) What’s your main workflow here, are you trying to mirror an existing folder tree from another system (and if so, which one)?
2) Do you need just create/move, or also list/search and permissions inheritance for subfolders?

As we roll out Gamma to everyone in GTM, I want to create a 'base folder' that has all approved first call and product over view decks. Right now I have to manually share each 'gamma' (aka slide deck) with each employee. I want to universally install it for all users in my workspace.

Totally get it, John McMullan. Having to share every single deck one-by-one sounds like a time sink, especially for GTM rollouts. I’ll pass this along to the team.
Quick couple questions so we design it right:
1) Do you want a folder that’s auto-shared to everyone by default, or do you need groups/roles (like all GTM vs all company, view vs edit)?
2) When new people join the workspace, should they automatically get access to that base folder too?

Gianluca Salis grazie per la richiesta, super chiara. Passo il feedback al team. Solo per capire meglio: 1) quante “profondità” di sottocartelle ti servono di solito (es. Cliente > Progetto > Anno)? 2) quando cerchi un documento, ti serve più per navigazione nelle cartelle o per permessi/condivisione diversi tra sottocartelle?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) grazie per avermi risposto, per ora ho pensato a una cartella con il nome del cliente e al suo interno altre cartelle ognuna con un documento specifico, quindi presumo una profondità, la userei per navigare più facilmente e trovare il documento che devo utilizzare per lavoro, credo che sia utile comunque se ognuna ha i suoi permessi, grazie ancora per il supporto.

Quiero hacerles la sugerencia de porder crear subcarpetas dentro de otra carpeta me parece muy util para poder organizar mejor el trabajo
