Imports result in blank Gammas. I've tested it with a PowerPoint that I previously imported successfully with the same results.

Ah that’s super frustrating, thanks for flagging it and for testing with a PPT that used to work. Could you share 1) what browser + OS you’re on, 2) roughly how big the PPT is (slides + file size), and 3) whether you see any error message or does it just finish and open as a blank Gamma? If you’re up for it, a screenshot of the import result (and/or a link to the PPT) would help us narrow it down fast and I’ll pass this to the team.

1) yes correct. Keep original formatting layout and everything then adjust/adapt slide by slide using gamma skills.
2)everything in different way.
I can add screenshot tomorrow once I ll be back at my desk.

Hey Stefano Padoa, thanks for spelling this out. Totally get the frustration if importing a PPT forces a global theme and messes up your original layout.
Quick couple questions so I can pass the right details to the team:
1) When you import, is your goal “keep original PPT formatting by default,” then optionally apply Gamma styling slide-by-slide?
2) Are there specific elements that get ruined the most (fonts, spacing, images, backgrounds, master layouts), or is it basically everything?
If you can share a screenshot of before vs after on one slide, that’d be super helpful, but no worries if not.

Hey Eduardo Bovo, sorry you had such a rough experience here. When you import a ready-made presentation, what specifically gets “destroyed” for you (layout, fonts, spacing, images, animations), and what would a “good” import look like in your case (keep everything 1:1, or auto-fit/reflow with AI to match Gamma pages)? If you can share one screenshot of before vs after (and what file type you imported), I’ll pass it along to the team.

As you can see here the icons are distorted and edges get cut off in the container they have been placed in.

2) Which browser + OS are you on, and does it happen consistently on every import or only on certain sections/icons?

I am utilizing chrome on mac and only for specific icons, seems to be when it is trying to pull and place smaller elements from the website, its not picking a proper container or not placing them properly by resizing them into the container. As well if the images are going to pixelate it should not place them at all and should find something similar or do something else.
