Improve powerpoint export quality
IRON DAN
When it comes to exporting to PowerPoint I suppose it has a predefined size for the slides, which means that if my presentation in gamma has a size, when I want to export it to pptx it is cropped and it looks weird or there are parts left out, my recommendation is that they add some type of preview with a frame the size of the pptx slide so that the user can make sure that everything will be in the margins and he will not have to be exporting again and again to see the changes he is making with the size of pptx

Text box format not standard on Export
Richard Maranta
I am trying Gamma to create PowerPoint presentations that can speed up my course creating process. I want to import your PowerPoint export into a program called Articulate Storyline 360. Articulate Storyline 360 is one of the most popular platforms for corporations to build eLearning courses - it basically has the market, and it has always been able to import PowerPoint effectively and accurately. I use Storyline for my Company in Learning and Development. Unfortunately, although your PowerPoint export does import pretty well, the text boxes come in as Articulate shapes with text in them, rather than a pure text box that normal PowerPoint would import as. This requires me to copy and paste all of the text into new text boxes, which is very time consuming. I wonder if you can improve your text export method and see if there is something that is incompatible with normal PowerPoint text boxes. If you can make it more compatible, it would extend the reach of Gamma to a very important segment - namely eLearning.

Character corruption issue with GAMMA's export function
Kouichi Shimizu
When exporting the PNG cards created in GAMMA, Japanese kanji characters change to appear like Chinese characters. For example, the "糸" part of "総" frequently transforms. I would be very grateful if you could fix this. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Alignment and Layout after export
ODCHK null
After the gamma file exported to ppt, the alignment changes, the layout of ppt becomes blank in master slide, so I was wondering would gamma ai improve this area of defect?

Hi ODCHK null, can you share a screenshot of the original vs output so I have a better sense of the issue?

hi there! We had a small issue that was impacted characters in exports. This has since been resolved - you should have no more issues going forward. If you do encounter anything, please reach out to our support team. You can reach out to them by going to https://gamma.app/ and clicking on the ? in the bottom right corner, then selecting "Contact support".

The clarity of the exported PPT images is very low

The images in the exported PPT are severely compressed, causing me to need to replace the high-definition images again even with the PPT, which is very laborious. Is there a way to set the image clarity?

Improve PowerPoint export so that Bullets are not exported individually
Fred Byron
Hi Gamma Team,
I hope you’re doing well! First off, I want to say how much I appreciate Gamma and the effort your team has put into creating such an amazing tool. It’s been a key part of my workflow, and I love how intuitive and impactful it is.
I’d like to suggest a feature enhancement related to how presentations are exported to PowerPoint. Currently, when exporting, the title, content, and bullet points are treated as separate elements in the PowerPoint file. While this works in most cases, it becomes quite time-consuming when I need to make significant edits—especially for formatting, resizing, or adjustments that affect multiple slides.
Here’s the challenge: because the text and elements are broken into separate pieces, I can’t easily select and modify the content of a slide in one go. Instead, I have to edit each line or bullet point individually, which takes extra time.
Would it be possible to adjust the PowerPoint export structure so that the slide content is grouped into a single editable element? For example:
The slide title would remain a separate element, but
All the body text (bullet points, paragraphs, etc.) could be grouped together as one block.
This change would make it much easier to modify exported slides directly in PowerPoint without losing the flexibility Gamma already provides. While I know I can make edits within Gamma itself, there are times (due to time constraints, formatting needs, or presentation-specific tweaks) when working directly in PowerPoint is necessary.
Let me know if this is something your team might consider, or if there’s any additional information I can provide to help clarify the request. I think this adjustment would save users like me a lot of time and make Gamma even more indispensable!
Thanks again for all your hard work and for building such a fantastic tool—I’m excited to see where Gamma goes next!
Best,
Fred
