I’m a user of the Pro version and, after several attempts and trying all possible page setup configurations, I still can’t find a way to export—whether to PDF, PowerPoint, or Google Slides—with consistent alignment across slides. Object positioning (headings, subheadings, body text, etc.) and font sizes (for headings, subheadings, and main content) vary unexpectedly. Even the footers are randomly resized.
There should be away of saying eg scale content to fit BUT keep a consistent format across cards (meaning, scale body content, but keep headings and sub-headings with the same font size and, crucially: everything in the same position (horizontal and vertical alignment) within each card.. all headings at the same height, etc.
This is particularly frustrating when slides share exactly the same layout and differ only slightly in text content—yet heading and body alignment still appears misaligned. As a result, I’m spending a considerable amount of time reformatting everything in PowerPoint or Google Docs just to make a presentation look professional before sharing.
Even with ‘Scale content to fit’ disabled, there doesn’t seem to be a reliable way to avoid text or elements overflowing the page—unless I limit myself to small font sizes and very little content. This isn’t consistent with the flexibility available in other apps (e.g. PowerPoint) using the same page configuration.
