Improving UX, Branding Tools, and Onboarding for Power Users
Renzo Proano
Hi Gamma Team,
I wanted to share some honest feedback. The biggest challenge I’m facing is the overall UX—it feels confusing, with key tools scattered across different areas. For example, when editing a card, there’s no clear way to adjust text size, which is a basic feature many of us expect.
I understand you're working on resizing elements like logos and branding, but branding in general still feels like one of the most difficult areas to manage. It's hard to apply or customize my own branding consistently throughout the presentation.
Many of us come with content already created—whether from company decks, research, or other tools—so when we import it into Gamma, we expect a smoother editing experience. Right now, it's not intuitive or easy to update and brand our own material.
I recommend focusing on simplifying the UI and making features easier to find and use. The current experience can be frustrating and feels more complicated than it needs to be.
Also, tutorials would be really helpful—especially for users transitioning from tools like Canva, PowerPoint, or Google Slides. I couldn’t find any guides on how to place logos or properly bring in branded content. Just mentioning the PowerPoint, PDF import option isn’t enough—some clear walkthroughs would go a long way.
Thanks for listening, and I’m rooting for Gamma to get even better.
Best,
Renzo

Hey Renzo, thanks for great the feedback.
I'm a designer here. Would love to chat with you if you want to grab time on my calendar calendly.com/nik-at-gamma
A few notes in case you can't chat
- you cannot change text size per card. A little restrictive, but we chose this for consistency
- You can change the base font size across all cards in page setup
- You can add your logo to any corner of the card via card headers & footers on the pro plan (also via page setup or the card styling menu)
