Right now, when I insert a gallery in Gamma, the images play like a simple carousel—but there's no way to add a caption or short description for each image. This limits how useful galleries are when presenting UX issues, workflows, or design explorations.

Why it matters:

If I'm sharing a deck with someone asynchronously, they’ll only see images—no context. I’d love to have:

A title/caption per image (shown below the image)

A description field beside or below the image while it's in carousel mode

This would let me use galleries as structured walkthroughs.

I noticed none of the images that are used have 'Alt Text' associated with them. All educational institutions must meet Title II Web Accessibility requirements by April 2026 and one of those is that all images used must have 'alt text'. Tables and graphs must have alt text as well.

No simple way to do that right now.

I am a Student who just yesterday subscribed to your Service. I really love the features and styling of the Presentation and also how it saved me a lot of time creating it.

Unfortunately I miss the feature to add text to an Image so I can cite it later. Also there seems to be no option to add a border to an image. I guess these features would massively improve the product because now I have to first edit the Image for it to have a border and also I have to add text in the Image itself to be shown so I can cite it. I unfortunately have to export my Presentation to Powerpoint in order to edit the presentation the way I need it which is kind of sad regarding the fact I love the animations gamma automatically adds.
