Make it easier to reorder cards, maybe with a card sorter / slide sorter / tiled grid layout
Paul Helmick
It's neat to be able to drag a couple up and down in the sidebar panel when they're not too far away, but when you have 60-70 cards and you want to reorganize a bunch of them, it'd be cooler to have a thumbnail view (8 cards across, 5-6 cards down) where you can just drag and drop groups of them to reorganize them quickly.

Grid Sort for Cards (similar to Slide Sorter in PowerPoint)
Prasad S
Please include a "grid sort" for organizing cards (similar to Power Point and Canva). It's difficult to use Filmstrip/List to scroll vertically up and down to arrange the cards. Especially, when you have plenty of cards. It's really irritating.
Prasad S
Thank you for your quick revert. Any card that's not visible on the filmstrip is a pain. In my 13-inch monitor, I see just five and half slides in the filmstrip (List View is not really helpful while the work is in progress as you will be chopping and changing). Would like to have drag-and-drop reordering and multi-select + moving whole sections at once.

Prasad S: thanks!

Totally hear you, Prasad S. Once you get into a big deck, vertical scrolling to reorder cards gets old fast. Thanks for the screenshot and the clear PowerPoint/Canva reference, I’ll pass this “grid/slide sorter” request to the team.
Quick couple questions so we build the right thing:
1) About how many cards does it start feeling painful for you (20, 50, 100+)?
2) In a grid view, do you mainly want fast drag-and-drop reordering, or also stuff like multi-select and moving whole sections at once?

PowerPoint-style grid view for better overview of large presentations would be SO unbelievably helpful for folks to reoder/sort presentations.

Totally hear you, a PowerPoint-style grid view makes it way easier to wrangle a big deck. When you say “grid view,” are you mainly trying to (1) drag to reorder quickly, (2) see more cards at once for structure, or (3) do bulk actions like select multiple and move them together? Also roughly how many cards are in the presentations where this starts to hurt?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) I would say at about 30 and most of my content is 30-100.

- like powerpoint - which lets you view and rearrange multiple slides easier than the filmstrip

Slide sorter or full screen grid view for reordering cards
Rich G Kenny
Probably one feature that's most holding me back with Gamma is being able to view my presentations in a full screen grid view. I can do this in PPT, Google Slides, Beautiful.ai, and Canva, but Gamma only has the right dock where you can only see a handful of slides at a time. I have some lengthy decks that I often need to rearrange depending on the audience I'm presenting to and to be able to review at a "zoomed out" level for content flow, etc. I'd love to see this view developed. Thank you!

Would appreciate a slide sorter function to allow better visualization and slide rearrangement than film strip.

PPT Slide Sorter View

In powerpoint I really like using the Slide Sorter View to organize my slides easier. I wish there was a similar function in Gamma. Cause right now I am exporting my presentation to do this in powerpoint and then importing it back into gamma.

Hello tech mes , could you please help me better understand your use case? When's the last time you needed to use Slide Sorter View in PPT, and what were you trying to achieve?
