Hey Almos Balazs, totally hear you. Opening button links in a new tab/window is a super common need, I’ll pass this to the team.
Quick couple questions so we get it right:
1) Do you want this as a per-button setting (like a “Open in new tab” toggle), or a global default?
2) Is the main goal to keep the Gamma page open while people check the link, or are you embedding Gamma somewhere and need to avoid navigating the parent frame?

Hi,
I actually wanted to open my website leidloff.eu in a frame so that leidloff.eu is always visible in the header.
The problem, however, is that I can't open linked pages in a new window. It would be nice if that were possible.
I've also tried unsuccessfully to link to my URL probefahrt-plus.de with the link text: probefahrt+ on https://auxilis-gmbh-zkm0hc4.gamma.site/. It keeps changing it to "Unknown Link," and I have no idea why or how to change that.

It would be super helpful if when creating a link it could open in a new tab. This way are customers/clients do not lose original document and have to figure out how to navigate back. It just makes the Gammas more user friendly for our clients.

Some of my links I'd like for users to click and open up in a new tab. It would be great if we had an option to set link to open in a new tab.

Totally hear you Ro Chittick, that’d be a super handy control to have. When you say “open in a new tab,” do you want that to be the default for all links in a doc, or something you toggle per link (button vs hyperlinked text), and what’s the main use case (keeping the Gamma page open while they reference an external site, tracking, etc)? I’ll pass this along to the team.

Totally hear you, Tammy Blacke. Opening links in a new tab would make it way easier for clients to explore without losing their place. I’ll pass this to the team. Quick question: do you want this as the default for all links, or an optional toggle per link (or maybe a viewer setting)?

Hey Gamma team --
My company is a PRO customer and really loves your product. We're continuing to run into issues when trying to turn our gammas into a live website: when we do that, links within the content don't open new pages. The only time hyperlinks open in new tabs is in deck format.
This has become a major blocker for us sharing our gammas externally. Are there any plans to update this bug?
