the AI agent doesnt import from the tempalte orectly it is near impossobel to amend the design of slides or add orgoianl images

Hey Andrew Robertson, thanks for flagging this. That sounds super frustrating if the AI import isn’t pulling the template through correctly and then it’s a pain to redesign or add your original images.
Quick couple questions so I can pass something actionable to the team:
1) When you say it doesn’t import the template correctly, what’s specifically off (layout, fonts/colors, spacing, missing elements)?
2) Where do you get stuck adding original images, is it not letting you upload/place them, or does the AI keep overwriting them during redesign?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) it imported the slide layout and my brand but left logo and other pictures i had in the template. Its the first time its done that.
The problem from there is its near impossible to get the AI to redo the design
So i started from scratch and it worked fine
One thing i find frustrating is the removal of manual amendments AI only works effectively if you let it built it. When i want customise a slide. Forget it i may as well go back to power point. So i have to compromise
when i first started using Gamma i found it much easier to do both but i know you have enhanced the AI side so that does work better if i import full instructions from Claude - the connector is a disaster because of the above amending issues.
