Share a template for duplication

Create a native force copy mechanism for Gamma templates, similar to how Google Docs can use a /copy URL to create a new copy editable by people outside the workspace.

Hey Alexandra Friedeman, love this idea. A native “force copy” link for templates would make sharing way cleaner, especially when you want folks outside your workspace to land in their own editable copy. I’ll pass this to the team.
Quick couple questions so we design it right:
1) When someone hits the link, should it always create a brand new doc, or should there be an option to “view original” too?
2) What’s the main use case for you: public template sharing, client handoffs, classroom assignments, or something else?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) Hi! 1) I like the idea of "view original" but only if the view-only settings would hold. Ideally, someone clicks the link to a view-only original and then the only "editing" setting is "duplicate template." 2) Main use case is semi-public template sharing so, someone we might contract with but is not an internal person who could leverage remix in our workspace.
