+ to paste a slide from one presentation to another.

Hey André Lage and @Centre Sentiré Anaïs Douillard et Romane Carduner we do have a copy/paste feature, either via the preview tiles, CMD+A, or selecting a card and doing copy/paste.
Are you running into issues with things not pasting correctly?

It would be great to be able to add single slides from other gammas to a presentation. Maybe also with the @$slidetext/slidename or with /addslide and then browse and choose.

No sync not needed (but would be nice to have)I’ve seen the other way around. To copy slides from an existing deck to my new one. But I’m working on the new one and would like to add slides that I already created without leaving the gamma

Philipp Meier, would you expect these added cards to stay synced with the original (and for changes to the original to be reflected)?

Abiilty to append a whole gamma

Example: I use ChatGPT to summarize chapter 1 of my textbook. Then I paste that text into gamma to create a gamma with 10 cards. I then use ChatGPT to summarize chapter 2 of my textbook. Then I paste that also into gamma to create a gamma with 10 cards. Now I have two gammas with 10 cards each and I want to merge them into one gamma with 20 cards. I want to append all of gamma 2 to the end of gamma 2. There is not currently a way to do this unless I manually copy each card from source to target.

Hi Erica Grong, have you tried using the filmstrip (left side of the screen) to merge? There should be a "Copy cards" option that will let you do this — here's a Help Center article with more details: https://help.gamma.app/en/articles/11028354-how-do-i-merge-cards-and-combine-gammas

move cards to different pages in a website

when i try to move the cards to another page, my only option seems to be moving it to the bottom of the first page of another project, i can't move something within a project to another page. very frustrating that one can move between projects but not within a project. Why important? I have some concepts I like but are not ready, so want to effectively hide them by putting them on a page that can't be viewed. Instructions online only seem to discuss hiding for slide presentations, not website. which is a shame because you have made creating a website faster than any other i have ever seen. but it doesn't allow for planning or iteration

When copying a card the option to copy seems to be limited to existing Gamma's, adding the option to copy to a new fresh gamma would be very useful

Yes, and please don't take me to the gamma I am copy to when I copy a card. Either do nothing or open a new tab with the other gamma.

Quando si procede a Duplicare in altra presentazione una o più slide, in automatico Gamma passa alla presentazione di arrivo... questa cosa dovrebbe essere attivabile o disattivabile dalle Impostazioni Generali utente in quanto in alcune situazioni è molto scomoda e fa perdere tempo inutilmente. Molte grazie.
