Dear Gamma Support,
EVEN THE CATEGORIES for sending input is BAD
I'm working on an academic presentation about war photography and visual culture (specifically analyzing the 1972 napalm photograph from Vietnam). I'm experiencing significant issues with the platform:
Unwanted AI Image Generation: When I create slides with blank image layouts, the system automatically generates inappropriate AI cartoon illustrations instead of leaving blank spaces for me to add my own photographs. This is completely unsuitable for serious academic content about war and trauma.
Inability to Disable Auto-Generation: I cannot find a way to turn off automatic image generation. I need clean slides with blank image placeholders only.
Repeated Workflow Disruption: I've had to delete and restart my presentation multiple times because of this issue, wasting significant time.
Missing Help/Support Access: I cannot locate a Help or Support button in the interface to report this issue directly.
What I need:
A way to create slides with blank image layouts that don't auto-generate images
Or a template/theme that respects content without forcing AI imagery
Guidance on disabling auto-image generation
This is for a serious academic submission, and the current behavior is making the platform unusable for this purpose.

Quick couple questions so we can pinpoint it:
1) When the images appear, are you starting from a specific template/theme, or from a blank deck and adding an “image layout” block?
2) Does it happen every time you insert an image placeholder, or only on certain slides?
