Image editing is hard, consider allowing free image placement
Jonas Diezun
Would be great if images could be fit, fill and custom also in the card layout area (tome has those 3 options and that worked quite well). Also allow images to not necessarily keep the aspect ratio when resized

Image Floating
Greg Fuller
This is the ability to float an image left or right beside a paragraph.
Example: Say I'm using a timeline layout. I add the header text "Pythagoras (570-495 BCE)," then the paragraph text "The influential Greek philosopher..." I hit return a couple of times and use / to add an image of Pythagoras. It would be nice to float that image to the rights.

hey Greg Fuller, not currently possible but will add for our records

I am finding it frustrating to adjust the size of an imported image to fit the space that I want.

Hi Dawn Green can you share an example of what you're trying to achieve? Image editing is something we get a decent amount of feedback on. Will help our design efforts

Nik Payne (Gamma design) For example: This pic shows the GCS. I would like to be able to expand this pic to make it larger. There are also limited places to be able to place a pic. I would like to be able to reposition and adjust size of pics like I can in PowerPoint. I have found I can export this to a PowerPoint and make some adjustments later.

Allow text and image elements to be modified more freely
Gildas TAC
Gamma automatically layouts text and images, whether in terms of location, font size etc...
It would be interesting to have a mode that allows you to control these parameters for the finish. For example, text size.
Or an automatic mode (like today) for 95% of the layout, which saves time
and a manual mode where you can adjust the parameters precisely and by hand.
Today, I am doing my gamma and exporting on slide or powerpoint to finalize. Not very practical...

Image editing is somewhat restricted. Sometimes it let me zoom, some times it does not. Need to work on that to fix image

Difficult interaction with elements
Ricardo Cruz Belmont
I wanted to use the application to create an application, but I was displeased that the slide editor is something more of the elementor style, or notion, where you drag blocks and you have to make them all square, you can't superimpose or stack elements.
That didn't give me the creative freedom I needed and in the end I decided to return to Google Slides.
I was really excited about the idea of using an AI to create a presentation and that worked great, but the part where I can't position the elements where and how I want and where I have to stick to certain predefined containers didn't like it at all.
I don't think I'll use the app again until I have that capability.

Thanks for the feedback Ricardo Cruz Belmont. We'll keep that in mind!

Ability to resize images ?
H
Hayron Lawrantz
I have made hundreds of Gammas and as there are predefined limits to what accent photos can be... why cant I resize every photo to fit the aforementioned mandated photo sizes?? Am I missing this? It goes from being so zoomed in that its pure luck if you can get enough in frame or "fit image," which makes is some absurd awkward square with zero proportion in regards to anything. This single thing makes me feel like presentations have a cheaper feel. I have been a paying customer for 6 months so I obviously love the product but the lack of this " feature," just leaves me scratching my head. Am I that bad at using Gamma or is this really missing? Half the AI images I generate are worthless for this reason alone.
